The Entanglement (2021)2021
In this single channel video the camera shift virtually in and out of the skin of the quarry, so that the viewer is taken from one perspective to another - human and rock, air and earth, moss and water, absence and presence. In the scripted narrative, the artist describes how her body was reclaimed by the matriarchal moss colony that now thrives in the absence that extractive industry left behind.
