Geological strata is digitally hewn and reformed using a photogrammetric method traditionally used for creating 3D virtual models. Multiple photographs taken at the site of an abandoned quarry have been digitally processed to generate a reformulated interpretation of the quarry face, before being printed large scale. A plaster cast of a crack in the quarried landscape sits on top of the cascading fabric.
