"Groyne Spire".
2019The temporary artwork was created at Bridlington,East Yorkshire in September 2019.The artwork was created as a result of my participation in LandSandStone which was a Land Arts Festival that occurred from 13-15 Sept where many national and international artists were invited. We worked at nearby Sewerby Hall and at Bridlington beach and it was at this location where I created this very temporary response in between tides using natural materials in front of enthusiastic onlookers. The artwork was purely a response to the beautiful textures and colours of the tideline materials and in particular,to the striking white chalk pebbles.
