The temporary installation was created at the top of Dent Hill near Cleator Moor in West Cumbria in January 2018. I choose the location due to its sheltered position from the wind and because of the vivid contrast between the snowballs and green conifer branches. The snowballs were randomly positioned and balanced on the branches and frustratingly kept falling off due to increasing breezes.Heavy rain suddenly set in and numbed my fingers to the bone and I managed to take just a few photographs before I was forced off the hill due to the bad weather.
