Robert Louis Stevenson wrote some wise words. Here is one aphorism which is as true today as it will always be.
"That man is a success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much." Obviously "man" represents both male and female although in his time women were not considered to have the same rights as man. I am particularly encouraged by the rise of women in all vocations. They are after all responsible for creating humans both male and female. Women naturally nurture and create mankind who are works of art in the process of flourishing into wonderful creative forces or demolishing themselves and others to emphasise the opposing polarities of death and life. Creation is concerned with living well, laughing and loving and those who experience those activities are the most successful people in my opinion.
