    Jan 2002 – May 2003 Development Officer for Soho House Museum Birmingham. Outreach work with Asian women suffering Mental Health problems. Based at three different Day/Community Centres Shaheen delivered weekly workshops/ creative therapy sessions. Working with Elderly female clients at Shakti Day Centre, Golden Hillock Day Centre, Fernley Gardens Day Centre and Soho Road Community Day Care.

     

    July 02 Oct 02 Salaam Wycombe – Artist in Residence at Wycombe Museum - built links with Asian community and Museum. Worked with the youth as well as a number of ladies groups to create work for final Exhibition.

     

    1997 – 1998 Teaching Technician at Newman College Art Dept.

    Taught ceramics to degree level students, clay work and glazes. assisted students with screen printing. Worked in the Art Department teaching ceramics to degree level students, assisted students with screen printing and computer aided design work.

    1987 - 1989 Paste Up Artist for Prontaprint, Burnley. Prepared artwork using reprographics darkroom, dealt with clients.
