A florescent blue paddling pool of moulded plastic, a balmy evening in Norfolk and I comfort myself with memories of holidays abroad.
However the diminishing light, dark looming trees and flimsy, shifting brush strokes, undermine the sense of playfulness and suggest a darker more disturbing, uncertain environment, alluding to the threat caused by the pandemic.
