Rosalind Faram

Artist, Writer

Approved: 24.09.2012

Rosalind Faram has a multidisciplinary way of working that employs painting, writing, sculpture, spoken word monologues & storytelling, personal photographic archival presentation and video to question the traditional patriarchal art-culture model. Through facilitating an expansive, fluid mode of creating, a partitive non-hierarchical aesthetic which embraces alterity, or Otherness arises. Her work fuses these multiple tropes to demand entitlement and challenge female invisibility. She uses her social media accounts as a new democratic platform.
