Artist Statement

Concepts Opus Glass Design was formed in 1996 by partners Celia Frank and Jake Peggs. After 20 years as working artists we based our new studio on contemporary but accessible design. Our main work to date has been for public art projects and large commercial schemes alongside smaller domestic commissions. We have the experience and skills to tackle any project, an innovative approach to site-specific work and enjoy working as part of a team. We pride ourselves on good communication skills, working to budget and finishing projects on time. Experience has shown that our glasswork can help make the link between architecture and people. Our main skill as designers is our adaptability and determination to create a piece of art that interests, moves and involves its audience. Our passion is to make contemporary glasswork available to as many people as possible.Influences contemporary art, architectureCareer path Since leaving art school in the 70s our developments have come out of running a full-time studio dedicated to finding new techniques to express our ideas for contemporary architectural glass. Through competitions and private commissions we aim to always advance our work.
