Biography

My most recent work makes reference to mass media and advertising and is a direct reflection of the contemporary cultural landscape. As a collection of homages, my work reveals the artists, writers, film-makers and musicians who have helped to shape my world view and made me the cultural product I am. My painting process begins with a black and white transparency projected using an OHP. The images are painted directly on to canvas using acrylics and emulsions for their fast-drying properties.
