This piece was commissioned by the Port of London Authority as part of their Cleaner Thames campaign. I collected waste from the driftwood collectors on the river and from Grays beach during a clean-up day with Thames 21. The sculpture is made from the waste collected and represents a school of Smelt, a type of fish which has been proven to ingest plastics from the river bed.
