Artist Statement
I am interested in perceptual instability within spatial representation. Particularly in employing means of intervention to disrupt or highlight the reading of a material, object or space, and the possibility for compromise, conflict and disruption between different disciplines and systems.
Many of my works are site-responsive and are intended to expand the boundaries of the object and equate the sculptural with the environmental conditions and architecture they are placed within.
