Martin Donlin

Brighton
Architectural Glass Artist

All my work is site specific and to commission. Through image, form and text the work can, relate to the physical characteristics and location of a site, refer to the historical heritage and meaning of a site, act as a marker establishing an identity of a site, creating a scene of place, be relevant and accessible to site users, or not. Sometimes my work is intended just to create an atmosphere or ambience significant to a site.Career path Qualifications: 1987 Higher National Diploma, Architectural Glass, Swansea College of Art Teaching Experience: 1991/92 Part-time Lecturer, Stained Glass Department, Swansea College of Art Areas of work: Private commissions Public art Working with architects
