Treasures 2
2014This painting is part of 'West Pier Art' a series of works developed about the Brighton West Pier and the 1360 redevelopments.
The title 'treasure' depicts the interior space where the artefacts remnants from the Pier were stored - sunlight was dispersed through the bars creating a beautiful and mysterious space. The Pier objects are now moved as the building has been demolished and some of the artefacts will be reinstated as part of the Museum under the i360 tower.
A series of paintings will be updated as the work progresses.
