When my mother died she told me who my father was. It is a family trauma that spans four generations that was held secret for 42 years. This is the first part of a lived trauma trilogy SECRETS+SHAMES=SELFS, and it is also expanding sideways to become a co-created project about Absent Fathers.

This short story is an every expanding multi form art piece (performance, film, audio, installation, participation, theatre). From a week's residency at Snape courtesy of Britten Pears Arts and PRS Foundation for Music, I worked with Kelly O'Brien, Andrea Edwards and Gerry McNee to create a three-film two-hander performance piece.
