Laura Davies

Muralist, Workshop Leader, and Contemporary Surrealist Painter


Laura is a bi-racial multi disciplinary painter who lives and paints in and around nottingham and surrounding areas.
Laura has been a practising artist for as long as she can remember, she spent her childhood living in London and Oxfordshire before making her roots in Nottingham.


Laura attended Nottingham Trent University and left to pursue a career in working within the care sector whilst facepainting for events and festivals since 2010 painting artworks and facepainting for domestic, and comercial events including film premiers, such as Swallows and Amazons and Steven Spielberg's BFG.


In 2014 Laura decided that painting faces wasnt enough creativity for her,
so spent as much time as she could diversifying her practise, starting to paint murals and grafiti in both care homes and derelict houses and  live paintings for events
in Nottingham, London and Birmingham.
Since this point Laura has been commisioned to paint murals in listed buildings, honed her craft, you you'll even find a photo of her up in the gallery in Nottingham Castle!
She has lead creative activities and facillitated workshops for Nottingham City Coucil, New Arts Exchange, Goldhill Adventure Playground, Bullwell Toy LIbrary, Mencap and Equation to name but a few.
Laura is an active energetic and creative war horse who loves a challenge and creates diverse artworks both on buildings, canvases, on faces or digitally.
