I am a visual artist, sound artist, composer, performer and lecturer. I studied painting and drawing but moved into digital imagery, sound and music in the mid1990s. More recently, due to the influence of my sound work and my current PhD research, I have returned to drawing with an emphasis on the physicality of the medium.

I have lectured at various colleges and universities in England and I am currently Programme Leader Postgraduate Art at the University of Hertfordshire.
My work has been exhibited continuously since 1983 in Britain, Europe, USA, Australia and China, and as a musician I founded and co-run Contakt, an experimental ensemble of composers and performers.

My interests lie in the relationships between image and sound, and their relationship to, and construction of place/space. I am currently carrying out PhD research in the relation of place and figure.
