My practice, which is principally three-dimensional and assemblage-based, is a form of cultural archaeology, seeking contemporary resonances and metaphors in the ideas and cultural baggage of the past

My practice is a form of cultural archaeology, seeking contemporary resonances and metaphors in the ideas and cultural baggage of the past. It is a practice in which painting, sculptural techniques, modelmaking and video all play significant roles. I have a particular interest in the language of the miniature and its relationship to Romantic and postmodern theories of the sublime.
