Joe Duffy
Joe Duffy is an artist working with the moving image, photography and installation, based in Manchester but interested in exploring places close by and far away. His work examines and locates place conceptually and as an exploration to engage with embodied landscapes, migration, mobility and narration.
Working with processes including drone filmmaking, gps mapping, animation, digital to analogue material processes and practices are incorporated into his practice in an ever expanding activity of working with spatial narratives. His interests centre around sublime landscapes and the apocalyptic imaginary with films being screened and exhibited nationally and internationally
