This exhibition re-considers the sick bag as an art form. Celebrating the visual language that these everyday objects have developed since they started to become commonplace on airplanes and ferries 60 years ago.

The exhibition looks at how the graphic aesthetic has developed over the past few decades, borrowing from Newbury based collector Andy Morris.

The exhibition also looks at the way in which artists have adopted and adapted the sick bag either as a medium or through interventions. Including work by artists Nick Cave, Helen Snell and Lydia Leith.

Inside the Sick Bag is the first in an ongoing series of exhibitions investigating unusual collections and celebrating them as an artform.
