Artist Statement

I remain here.

There is no silence.

There is something to be said and to discover in moments that leave.

The little things are not so little

and they,

remain here too.

Change, existence, memories, solitude, empathy, remain.

We carry a piece of time everywhere.

Elisha Hughes

My practice investigates a place that is forever changing and the remain. Through exploring the subtle things in everyday life and documenting my surroundings, I feel that there is more to say. There is more than just a surface, a voice, a shadow, a reflection. We now live in heightened times that reveal.
