Ducky Elford

Neurodivergent artist exploring the intersection of art and play. Non-normative video games, costume and art for non-normative humans.

Ducky Elford is a neurodivergent designer and artist. 

Specialising in digital art, (Ducky) Elford's work explores the intersection of art and play, utilising a variety of multimedia techniques that combine animation, 3D modelling, VFX, game design and rapid prototyping. Their work creates game spaces and digital artworks that explore metaphysical, historical, and possible future spaces that co-exist across virtual and physical realms.

They were recently a resident at Somerset House as a Maker with a Mission at Makerversity. Elford also won the Preziosa Young prize, awarded by the Italian Academy of Jewellery in 2013.

Their work has been exhibited internationally including in London, Paris, and Florence and in museums and galleries like the Louvre, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Korea, the Beijing International Art jewellery Biennale and the Inhorgenta Munich.

Elford's work has been featured in books and major print and online publications such as Hi-Fructose, Elle China, Vogue, LOVE magazine, Madame Figaro, and Another Magazine among others. 

Elford has a background in academia, teaching MSc Applied Technologies and BA Fashion Accessories Design and Prototyping at Ravensbourne (London) and Games Design and Animation at Morely College.
