Artist Statement

My artistic practice revolves around sound, either as a composer or as a sound artist. As an artist I create sound installations, usually site-related or site-specific. The installations involve heavy use of technology and programming, sometimes the work involves projections or other visual aspects. I tend to work with prolonged times of generative sound spanning from from hours to infinity. I also work as an arts consultant and my interests mainly lie in rural arts and arts outside of metropolitan areas.

Lancaster University, MA in Contemporary Arts Practice. Supervised by Neil Boynton and Takayuki Rai. October 2012 – September 2013
St. Petersburg State Conservatory. Studied with Boris Tischenko and Anatoly Korolyov. September 2007 – June 2012.
