Artist Statement

I am Exhibitions Officer at the Bluecoat in Liverpool, working on many practical aspects of the exhibitions programme including corresponding with artists and lenders, arranging loans and shipping of artworks, planning exhibition changeovers and project management. Previously I have worked and volunteered at galleries including Tate Liverpool, Manchester Art Gallery, A Foundation and the Walker Art Gallery, on the John Moores Painting Prize, and have experience of archiving and documentation. I am inspired by great art and thought-provoking exhibitions, and am keen to develop my career in exhibitions further. Currently working towards an MA in Art Gallery & Museum Studies at The University of Manchester, I also enjoy critical writing and write reviews for regional arts blogs Corridor8 and The Double Negative.
