Since 2007, David's creative practice has been focused on the design and delivery of projects for our public realm. Storytelling with objects and three-dimensional installations is at the heart of his creative work and he strives to communicate ideas and narratives through the design and production of sculpture, light installations and temporary time-based projects. David believes that artwork within a shared space should engage people at various levels. From a fleeting glance to an up-close inspection, he aims to create work which adds a distinctive sense of fun, quality and individual narrative to each location. Research, engagement and collaboration inform everything and can only add to the building of a sense of pride, ownership and celebration.
The individual heritage of a site is often used as a catalyst for the development and production of permanent creative legacies that now occupy a wide range of spaces within our shared landscape.
The studio continues to grow with a range of exciting new projects, interesting collaborations and studio experiments.
