Artist Statement

Concepts Running concurrently throughout my work is a deep fascination with the scale of the large and small, the inner and outer and above and below. Inspired by images of astronomy and the scale the immensity of the universe, I tried to find a visual bridge to help illustrate the enormity of space and the wonder of the earth, and man, through the medium of digital photography. Hinduism, alchemy and spirituality have helped to fuel that ally this reasoning.Influences The human figure, Landscape, Ancient cultures/Myths, Space Technology, New Physics; own cultural identity (White, British); own gender (Male)Career path Despite the last year being spent managing the prestigious Animation Station in Banbury, I am finding ways to explore a new body of digital work which is contemplating the reality between the passage of time and electronic imaging.
