Educational Support Teacher, poet and essayist.  Using human experience to re-define  stories and look beyond the narratives.  The themes of loss and disonnection have been central to my work; exploring the impulses of human nature and what motivates this.  My recent poetic sequence has been informed by my own personal studies of child and adult development, cross-referenced with the views of the contemporary philosopher Timothy Morton, social justice speaker and organisational consultant Steve Briault, and social science lectures.  
I am concerned that our rising need for affirmation and information is diminishing our sense of connection to our environment and the physical world, and I share the view of Timothy Morton that we have been conditioned to have romantic ideals about nature.

2016 - Poetic response to 'Fathoms, Fragments, Fieldwork' exhibition - Robert Manners, artist.
2015 - Awarded a BA (Hons) Arts and Humanities (first class).
Poem in response to South Devon Arts Safari (published on website).
2014 - Poem published in Norcap (for tracing lost relatives).
