Cherry Tenneson was born in Liverpool, England in 1980 and studied at Manchester School of Art from 1998 - 2004. She currently lives and works in Manchester, England.
Cherry's artwork explores the banal narratives that exist within the language of institutional communication design, including graphic identities, signage and internet communications. Her work appropriates institutional, graphic forms and often takes the form of interventions, including site-specific projects (which are heavily informed by her past training and employment as a Signwriter).
