A tribute to Wilfred Owen who lived in Ripon for some months before returning to the Front where he was killed shortly before the Armistice. The work uses texts from Owen, and is sited behind the altar in the Chapel of Justice and Peace at Ripon Cathedral. Sited here, in a place normally reserved for an altarpiece or reredos, the piece marks the importance to the Cathedral of Owen's poetic witness to the experience of everyman in the First World War.
