Artist Statement

I am interested in the malleability of digital material,
image proliferation and the infinite forms of the digital image.
By remaking my own images I explore the entanglement
of technology and the many potentials contained
in digital data. I reappropriate my own archive.

I use digital video, everyday apps,
screen capturing software, generative content
and new-media to copy material and explore the over saturation
of imagery post-internet.

I have also undergone projects researching the reuse of public
and private archival material, examining
issues around appropriation, ownership and identity.

I am currently undergoing a PhD practice-as-research project
How Long is a Photograph Post-Internet?
Performing Proliferation.
