Sliced legs of a broken chair form the body of this necklace, sanded, drilled & painted, spaced with cloudy discs hand punched from plastic milk bottles. Bespoke silk tassels complete this tribal depiction of modern trash. Research into play in design led me to deciding the materials, joins & colour for this necklace using a dice game. An individual piece in a series of 3 with common roots, I like to display it as carnival & costume, contextualized by a mural from the Japanese folktale Momotaro.
