I am primarily a printmaker working in linocut. I began printmaking to disguise and add mystery to my marking. This aim has not been entirely successful but has opened my practice to new methods and ideas which I develop to express my interest in my surroundings. A fondness for brutalist architecture has resulted in my casting concrete onto lino and printing lino onto concrete.

Artist Statement

CV & Education

2007 – 2009 BTEC professional diploma in Creative Arts-printmaking at West Herts College
A former member and committee member of the Watford and Bushey Art Society. I represented Watford as an artist at the sister cities (twin towns) of Mainz, Germany and Wilmington, USA ( Parallel Visions 2005)
Taught linocut printmaking at the Frobisher Studio in Bushey, Hertfordshire.
I was the first recipient of the Richard Harrington Challenge Cup in 2010.
