Eight female artists and curators were invited to sit, on different occasions, in front of Gwen John's painting, 'Girl in a Blue Dress' (1914-15) in a gallery at Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum of Wales for 1 hour in silence. At the end of the hour, each participant was invited to record their experience in the form of a letter to Gwen John. Falcini describes these interactions between the painting and the participants as 'meetings or dialogues' not only with Gwen John but with the anonymous woman in the painting.
