After an exciting year touring the UK and Ireland, Sound Book Project are back for one last performance on home turf at Oriel Davies, Newtown before taking a break to write new material. Books are the theme and to cite Dann Chinn of Misfit City, they "use books as noisemakers and instruments - "wound, sprung, strummed, slapped and thrown" as well as being modified or miked-up - in an experimental, slightly fetishistic celebration of the sensuality of bound text as opposed to digital media, and the way in which sounds trigger memories and associations." Don't miss it!
