This project Target Practice is a reenactment of a military range in Britain its a response to militarism, masculinity and our environment. Visual representations relating to borders, divisions, territories, cultural identity. The project started as a geographical survey on the many coastal walks I made; along the edge of a military range in Lydd, Kent. These constructed Targets are placed into the landscape using traditional technologies film & camera, tripod, setting up in the military landscape where conservation intertwines nature and everyday lives of gun fire & military training.
Homeless, 2014-15 by Tony Mallon
Homeless moved beyond the human presence to explore, examine & document through photography & text, the spaces & experience of living in homeless hostels in Merseyside during 2014-15.
Exhibited as part of LOOK/15, Liverpool’s international photography festival (May 2015) & at the Unseen Photo Festival, Amsterdam in 2015. Project supported using public funding by Arts Council England & The National Lottery.

Audio meditation taking inspiration from the Astrological Profile of Jenny Lomax, when she started as Director of Camden Arts Centre 25 years previously, using the artists own interpretation and script from this set of signs and symbols the audio explores a generic yet extremely personal translation of character, gender, power and space.
Using the artists voice, script and audio filters, Jacobs mimics vocal ASMR techniques found on Youtube.
