Laura Yuile was selected for the Artist in Residence programme at The Art House in July 2019. Whilst there Laura created a series of sculptural works that were presented alongside works from the Arts Council Collection selected by curator Lauren Velvick. The final exhibition titled 'A Brick Tunnel with a Concrete Floor' runs until 12 October 2019.
We were commissioned by The Art House to make a film about Laura's residency.

A film about Social Works?: Live, a celebration and exploration of socially engaged practice which took place at Manchester School of Art on 26 April 2019.
Singapore-based artist Joey Chin and South Africa-based artist Buhle Wonder Mbambo were the Artists in Residence at The Art House from September to November 2018. This is the first major residency and exhibition in the UK for both artists which has been co-funded by The Royal Over-Seas League.
Shift Cardiff, Sull and RUG are three artist-led spaces located in the Capitol Shopping Centre in Cardiff. These spaces have been put into use through Axisweb's Vacant Space programme.
