Juan delGado was selected for The Art House 'Some Times' residency programme during March 2017. We were commissioned by The Art House to make a film about his time there.
During his month-long residency Juan worked collaboratively with refugees and asylum seekers through City of Sanctuary and Art House studio holders to set up a 'Living Room' - a place to relax, share stories, art and music. The 'Living Room' project runs alongside Juan's exhibition Altered Landscapes which is on display in The Art House Project Space until 3 May 2017.

Singapore-based artist Joey Chin and South Africa-based artist Buhle Wonder Mbambo were the Artists in Residence at The Art House from September to November 2018. This is the first major residency and exhibition in the UK for both artists which has been co-funded by The Royal Over-Seas League.
Shift Cardiff, Sull and RUG are three artist-led spaces located in the Capitol Shopping Centre in Cardiff. These spaces have been put into use through Axisweb's Vacant Space programme.
