01. About the Axiseweb Artist Award

This series of Awards is 100% financed by Axisweb. This independence helps us support our members.

We want to support artists as artists. It’s not about defining outcomes, it’s about space and time to be ambitious, challenge and allow the unplanned or unexpected to emerge.

02. What The Axisweb Artist Award Includes

The Award offers £1,000 cash, a personalised support package, an artist film produced by Axisweb plus editorial and promotion through our website and social media platforms.

In addition to the Artist Award winner, we will select two outstanding applications to receive non cash support.

03. Past Artist Award Winners

We are looking for applications from artists who demonstrate a critical framework in approach and a desire to challenge their practice.

The proposed activity must commence before May 2018.

Proposals will be reviewed the the Axisweb curatorial team and Sarah Martin, Head of Exhibitions at Turner Contemporary.
