Great success for our iPhone App for Art in Yorkshire - supported by Tate as it wins Gold at the Roses Creative Awards 2012.
Art in Yorkshire App and website
Last year we worked with digital agency fuse8 to build an iPhone app and website for Art in Yorkshire - supported by Tate, a year-long project led by York Museums Trust.
The app has had high star ratings since its launch and even featured in the ‘recommended’ section of the iTunes store.
GOLD winners
Adding to this success, the iPhone App won GOLD for Best App at the Roses Creative Awards organised by The Drum at the awards ceremony in Manchester on Thursday 3 May 2012.
The App was shortlisted alongside:
- Happy Days Game celebrates 75th anniversary of Butlin's (SILVER)
- Honda Civic - bringing a brochure to life (SILVER)
- Best of Britain App (BRONZE)
- Zombies ate my phone
Shortlisted for Award
In March 2012, the iPhone App was also shortlisted in the Best App category at the Insider Yorkshire Digital & Technology Awards 2012, along with StompBox by Limelight Software, Firework Fever by GotFocus Solutions.
Unfortunately we weren't the winners this time as the excellent StompBox by Limelight Software won at the ceremony in Leeds on Wednesday 28 March 2012.
