Working without a permanent venue, Vinyl is a project that moves between spaces, bringing artists and organisations together in ways that challenge their existing methodologies.

Vinyl is an artist-led curatorial project that started out in Andre de Jong's living room in 2010. It has gone from being static and exhibition-based to a nomadic and collaborative project, more interested in process than outcome.

De Jong has an interest in trying out new methodologies and recently organised a group residency at The Meter Room in Coventry to explore group dynamics and shared practice.

Vinyl is currently working with a number of artists on a major project that will move from site to site across Birmingham taking in spaces such as Stryx, The Wig and Edible Eastside.
