Sue Williams is a prominent artist with a recognised body of work and an exhibition history of both solo and group shows on five continents. The work is both raw and accomplished; strong, charged and challenging in its links to contemporary lives and the sexualisation of western society.
A practicing artist since 2000, based in South Wales, Hamish Gane explores broad themes surrounding photography, memory and melancholia, most often through depiction of his immediate domestic environment and family.
Professor Tim Davies has been working as a visual artist for over 20 years and has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad. In 2011 he represented Wales in a solo exhibition at the Venice Biennale of Art. Tim was awarded a personal chair in 2012 in recognition of his professional achievements as a visual artist and his leadership of the Fine Art programme at Swansea.
Sarah Tombs is a practising sculptor. Sarah studied her degree in Fine Art at Wimbledon School of Art, gaining a first class hons degree, followed by MA studies at Chelsea School of Art and an MA in sculpture at the Royal College of Art in 1987.
Dr Marilyn Allen is an artist, writer, theorist, and one half of the collaborative double act ‘matthews AND allen’.
Ryan L. Moule is an artist and lecturer. Moule exhibits his work both nationally and internationally.
I relocated to Wales in 2004 and have worked at Women’s Arts Association, Chapter Arts Centre and Locws International helping artists to develop, produce and install their work for exhibition.
Craig Wood’s work can be described as site specific or site sensitive. His practice has evolved from being architectural site specific in the early 1990’s, into the current more nuanced investigation into social and cultural situations. He frequently works in the exhibition space rather than a studio.
