The first work created under Matt Baker's role as Lead Artist to the 'Old Town' district of Inverness – 'Imagining the Centre' was a different vision of the traditional city centre this temporary artwork was a means of engaging Invernessians in a conversation about their city. Launched on an unsuspecting public between 11am and 11pm along the length of Church St - working with 14 highland artists who went on to become the core of the larger Inverness Old Town Art programme.
