Open Books:Sixteen Artists and the Chinese Folding Book

This is an exhibition I have curated for the National Library of Wales. When visiting Hong Kong and China some years ago I bought a number of Chinese folding books, which I then distributed to various artist friends in Hong Kong, Australia and the UK, asking them to fill them in for an exhibition. This has now come to fruition and it opens on 30th June in Aberystwyth. It features work by Iwan Bala, G W Bot, Natalie d'Arbeloff, David Gould, Clive Hick-Jenkins, Sue Hunt, Mary Husted, Maggie James, Gukzik Lau, Heather Nixon, Ou Da Wei, Alan Salisbury, Frank Vigneron, Robin Wallace-Crabbe, Lois Williams and Sue Williams.
Entry is free and the library is open Monday to Saturday, 9.30am - 4.30pm
