Charlie Levine has been curator and art critic since 2005. Based in Birmingham, UK, she has worked on many independent/self initiated projects in the UK and Europe. She is the founder and Director of TROVE, a contemporary art project working with heritage sites in Birmingham, and curator of Aedas Presents, an arts initiative located in the Birmingham office of international architect firm, Aedas.

Levine's interests lie in curiosity cabinets, collections, objects and responding to heritage sites. She has worked in partnership with several different people and organisations, including curator/editor Matt Price, gallery Minnie Weisz Studio, London, Birmingham Architects Association, Hereford Photography Festival, and Birmingham City Council.

She has worked on several large scale projects including co-curating the British show at the 5th Prague Biennale, been curatorial advisor for Anticurate at mac Birmingham, and curator of Non obsolescence for Hereford Photography Festival at DownStairs Gallery.

Levine is a strong advocate of the arts in Birmingham.
