Gill Newton is based in Guildford, South East
I make impermanent abstract art works and installations. With humble materials, often reclaimed, I explore line and space intuitively, using simple techniques and processes; blending craft skills with a fine art sensibility. Working from one thing to the next I assemble, juxtapose and balance artworks in space, expressions of human feeling, that enable me to reveal what I cannot say.
