Victoria Rance is based in London
I am concerned with creating spaces for humans to inhabit, either physically or imaginatively. The works create a sheltering skin, a place which protects or alters the sense of self, but also provokes ambivalence. I am interested in architecture, costume and the interplay between functionality and art. I record interactions with my work using photography and animation.
