Alison Bickmore is based in London
In my painting I explore themes of space and memory through the process of overlapping and layering marks. The engagement /relationships between these symbols, in the pull and push of a painting are what fascinates and through the fragility an object, maybe a hand or layer of tissue paper can change and become another unknown quantity or form.
