Second Pigrimage, 2009 - 2012

Second Pigrimage, 2009 - 2012

details about this work

Maria Kuipers is based in Hove, South East

Maria Kuipers is first and foremost an artist of emotional power. Her paintings are intuitively conceived in the tension between disability and inner strength, uncovering layers of thought, imagery and symbol which reach out to our inner selves. Using a process of layering, scraping back, reflecting and re-instating, the results are emotional landscapes of spiritual significance.
