Robert McCubbin is based in Glenluce, Scotland
In my sculpture practice I appropriate everyday materials and reconfigure them into works invested with new status. The works are abstract and comment on colour, form and texture, set within art-historical and contemporary developments in art. I use collage and assemblage techniques to construct my works.
