Linda Barlow is based in Wem, West Midlands
My work is often autobiographical and considers the changing social position of women in contemporary society. I am drawn to quilt-making with its slow, repetitive rhythms, and the fact that it has existed outside conventional art practice and as such has been the unrestricted voice of women.
